Hola a todos los que nos siguen!
Hemos sido malos updaters y lo sentimos. Este post es para actualizarlos en que está pasando con la banda, debido a que no hemos estado muy presentes por un tiempo.
Quiero empezar por decir que 2011 fue un año estupendo, pero también algo rocoso. Con la partida de uno de nuestros guitarristas y la incorporación permanente de nuestra cellista, tuvimos que pasar mucho tiempo reagrupándonos y re-arreglando las canciones para que se adapten a la nueva formación. El resultado es muy bueno, sentimos que ganamos mucha madurez en nuestro sonido, pero por supeusto esto nos atrasó un poco en nuevas canciones, shows, etc.
En este momento el otro guitarrista se encuentra en unas vacaciones de 3 meses, pero decidimos no dejar que eso interrumpa nuestras actividades, por el contrario, estamos pasando mucho tiempo en nuestra sala de ensayo casera para poder trabajar en la nueva música, y pro ahora la experiencia ha sido muy buena.
Si tuviese que describir el material que viene: es algo diferente a lo que venimos haciendo, realmente queremos hacer una apuesta más fuerte. Tenemos temas más fuertes y un poco más “upbeat” y estamos tratando de hacer que el overdrive regrese tan poderoso como lo era en los viejos tiempos. Pero, como nuestro guitarrista está fuera, SI hacemos shows durante el verano (que estamos más que abiertos a invitaciones) probablemente tomen forma de show acústico pro el momento.
Sea como sea, queríamos que sepan que no nos hemos ido a ningun lado, solo estamos juntando fuerzas para empezar el nuevo año con mucho más que ofrecer y seguir contribuyendo al género de “rock internacional” de nuestro país.
Esperamos que para mediados de este año tengamos un nuevo EP en nuestras manos y muchas otras fechas. Veremos!

“Ensayos” es un programa de TV dedicado a las bandas “under” que quieran un producto de presentación y difusión, de alta calidad de sonido y video, como el que brindamos. Es grabado en el Estudio de grabación “La Fragua” en la localidad de Bella Vista y realizado por Circo Visuales.

Southsense fue seleccionada entre otras 70 bandas para formar parte del primer episodio. El mismo tiene una duración de 27 minutos, y se emitirá por el Canal Provincial de TeleRed (canal 2 o 14, según sistema analógico o digital) los días Domingos en horario nocturno a confirmar, y cuya transmisión llega a los partidos de: 3 de febrero, Bella Vista, San Miguel, Jose C. Paz, Malvinas Argentinas, Pilar, Escobar, Lujan, Mercedes, Suipacha y Moreno entre otras localidades. Con una potencial audiencia de más de 1.000.000 de personas.
